As you can see, the left menu changed to the Rating Panel. If you don't want this change to take place every time you start a tool simply uncheck the "Auto-show left rating panel" option. For more info about the Rating Panel, please click the upper Information sign.

Note:  You can click the upper left button to return to the Main Menu.
